Gary Wayne Kinser, 72, passed away on June 2, 2020, at his home in Sanger. Born on October 17, 1947, in Minneapolis, MN, Gary was the son of Robert William and Marion Goldie (Trude) Kinser.
Gary obtained his bachelor’s degree then went on to serve our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Having been a Purple recipient, Gary was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
On April 28, 1973, he married Kathleen O. Swedean in Minneapolis, and together, they had one son. He and Kathleen recently celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. Gary was an independent IT consultant until his retirement. It was only a few months ago that they moved to Sanger, Texas, to be near their son Andrew.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathleen of Sanger; one son Andrew Kinser of Sanger; one sister Patricia Paisley of Phoenix, AZ; and two grandchildren.
