The Purple Heart is the only decoration that attests, without question, to the bearer having been in combat. It is one for which an individual cannot be recommended, it can only be earned.

The MOPAH is accepting photographs for the 2022 MemorialQuilt. The Quilt(s) will be used in the National Memorial Day Parade.

Deadline to submit photographs for the 2022 Quilt is March 31, 2022, however, photos will be accepted year-round for future Quilts.
